The actual scheduling will depend on when X Dimension returns from Halifax, but here is a tentative schedule. Please see Maine Harbors for list of possible harbors during the voyage.
Update: X Dimension intends to depart Halifax on Thursday, July 11 at 8pm. She intends to arrive in Bar Harbor on the morning of Sunday, July 14. - Thursday, July 18 - Sail to Gloucester
- Friday, July 19 - Sail to Boston
Provisions
Transportation
Car
This is certainly the most flexible option. Ted can provide two cars, but will have limited room for gear, cushions, provisions, and the outboard motor. We may be able to use Scott's minivan if we can locate it. Cost: gas for 2 vehicles for 600 miles each: ~$240.
Other Transportation Options
- Greyhound: Boston to Bangor: 3 trips per day, ~4-1/2 hours, $45/person.
- Bar Harbor Shuttle: Bangor to Bar Harbor: 4 trips per day, ~1-1/2 hours: $40/person
- Amtrak: Boston to Portland: $20/person
