Maintenance Tasks (ongoing)

These tasks should be done after each trip.

• dinghy
  • scrub floor
  • freshwater rinse
  • wipe salt residue from motor surfaces

• deck
  • scrub the decks
  • remove scuff marks from transom and aft hull
  • freshwater rinse exterior above the waterline
  • flush soot and dirt from toe rails

• head
  • drain holding tank then flush it a few times
  • scrub/wipe all surfaces
  • clean drain pan and grid

• bilge
  • scrub with brushes and rinse
  • clean bilge well of any particles
  • remove all slime and debris from pump strainers

• kitchen
  • clean stove and oven
  • clean sinks
  • clean countertops

• main cabin
  • wipe/scrub all wood surfaces with murphy's wood soap (diluted)
  • wipe/scrub ceiling with simple green (diluted)
  • wipe/scrub hatches and mast with simple green (diluted) to remove salt residue

Critical Tasks

• create as-is septic schematic
• create as-is freshwater schematic
• create as-is 12v schematic
• create as-is 110v schematic

High Priority Tasks

• install dodger to reduce water through coaming
• install mast boot tape
• install float switch on primary bilge pump

Unprioritized Tasks

• replace septic system

• new screws in lazarette latch hardware

• replace glass in hatches - head and main cabin
• procure vent scoops for dorade boxes
• replace fractured compass glass on pedestal
• seal holes in cockpit
• install retainer bungies on port and starboard lazarette lids
• procure and install handles for interior of main cabin hatch
• polish stainless steel pulpit and pushpit
• fabricate covers for electrical outlets in port lazarette
• create hangars for fenders in port lazarette
• re-seat toilet (platform pulls up to starboard when pumping)
• shorten dinghy painter to 2 dinghy boat lengths
• replace light fixtures with led fixtures (5 dome lights in main cabin, 5 berth spotlights, 2 fwd berth spotlights, 1 dome light in head, 4 floor-directed lights)
