Nevermore Depart Checklist

This is the checklist of thing to do before getting underway.

• unlock cabin, starboard lazarette, and stern lazarette. stow locks in top drawer of nav station.
• remove companionway boards. stow in cabin.
• make log entry. include at least the following:
  • date and time
  • name of each person on board
  • engine hours at start
• remove guppy. stow in bucket in aft lazarette.
• set both battery switches to 'both'.

(above: Not a good idea! thinks ThomS; better to (a) turn bottom switch to "1", or (b) turn top to "1" or "2".)

• set nav-station 'MAIN' breaker to 'on'.
• check bilge water; pump out.
