Nevermore Systems Status
This page is intended as a way for sailors to quickly determine which systems on the boat are not operating normally.
Please enter information about any systems that are not operating correctly on the boat, or which are operating in a non-standard way that skippers and crew should know about.
Engine
- Throttle tends to slip back, needs to be held to maintain RPMs.
Electrical
12v systems
- VHF Radio: fully functional
- RADAR: not installed
- Wind Instruments: not connected
- Knotmeter: missing
- GPS: works, but must be charged via 12v socket
- Handheld VHF: fully functional; recharge in base at nav station
- Autonav: non-functional and disconnected from rudder
- Accessory Sockets: one by cabin entry, one to left of nav station
110v systems
- shore power connections:
- will provide power to 110 receptacles
- shore power ground may not be isolated: do not use for extended periods of time
- 110v charger: disconnected
Rig
- Traveler: non operational - tied in center position
- Mainsheet: operational
- Jib sheets: functional
- Jib roller furler: operational, but sometimes jams
Freshwater
- freshwater system is operational
- tanks are currently full of bleachy water
- hot water tank is not yet operational - need to connect engine hoses
- there is a leak at the galley hot water faucet
Head
- new head installed, but not connected to tank
Galley
- refrigerator: compressor is not operational
- stove: no alcohol
Dinghy
- the dinghy is on board, currently stowed in the v berth
- motor is stowed on the stern rail
- pumps and parts are in two bags, currently stowed on bench in main cabin
Other
- Several portholes leak
- both hatches leak
- starboard cockpit lazarette leaks, need seal
- bimini not installed
