Bilge pump 3-way toggle switch (switch 01)
POSITION ACTION
UP manual: pump runs whether or not there's water to pump
CENTER off: pump never runs
DOWN automatic: starts when a certain water level is reached, stops when lower level reached
  • Notes (above):
    • Do not let bilge pump run "dry"
    • Pump is NOT fused in Nav Station switch panel, but its fuse is inline, bundled in
      wiring above Battery 1, in battery compartment behind nav table seat.
      Fuse is type AGC, current 15-amp.
    • See Systems Description for more mechanical, electrical, and operating info of this pump.

Upper horizontal row of 6 toggle switches (up is ON)
SWITCH AMPS CAPTION OBSERVED FUNCTION
11 30-A MAIN powers (12-V) and protects
* the other 5 upper #12-16 circuit-breakers,
* the 6 lower #21-26 breakers, but
* not the 7 vertical breakers #31-37
12 10-A NAVIG LIGHTS powers sidelights and sternlight
also powers compass light
13 10-A STEAMING LIGHT powers steaming light
14 10-A CABIN LIGHTS powers cabin lights and fans
15 10-A PRESSURE WATER disconnected (Aug08)
16 10-A BLOWER blower disconnected (Aug08)

SWITCH AMPS CAPTION OBSERVED FUNCTION
21  ? SUMP PUMP not connected
22  ? FORE DECK ILLUM powers foredeck light
23  ? NAVIG INSTR powers bulkhead nav instruments (as of Aug08, only depthmeter connected)
24  ? MASTHEAD LIGHT powers tricolor light
25  ? RADIO disconnected (Aug08)
26  ? ACCESSORY powers companionway 12v socket & nav station pigtail 12v socket

Vertical column of 7 switches (right is ON)
SWITCH AMPS CAPTION OBSERVED FUNCTION
31  ? no caption not connected
32 25-A Auto Pilot unknown
33  ? REFRIGERATION unknown
34  ? STROBE powers strobe light
35  ? ANCHOR powers anchor light
36 05-A PHONE not connected

- -- NAV/COM no switch

NOTE #1: The 12-volt feed to these seven vertical switches (31-37) are NOT protected against over-current
by the 'MAIN' circuit breaker on the top horizontal row of switches, nor by any other known breaker or fuse.
However, the ammeter DOES display these switches' current loadings

NOTE #2: in the table above, "?" indicates we cannot see the amperage rating for some circuit-breaker/switch units; ThomS originally (c.2007) thought such units were only switches, but TedY is probably right that all of them ARE circuit-breakers too.

Right-hand sub-panel (NAV instruments):

All wiring to this sub-panel has been disconnected (Apr08)
