Boating Safety Class

Description

Massachusetts now requires power boaters to have taken an approved boater education course. Why not earn your certificate right on campus from the covenience of the Sailing Pavilion? Over the course of three fast-paced sessions, Capt. Mike Sacarny of MIT Sea Grant and the US Coast Guard Auxiliary will take you through the essentials. Those passing the quiz at the conclusion will receive their certificate, which satisfies the boater education requirements of all 50 US states and territories. Whether you're a newbie or just need a refresher, this class is perfect for all skill levels. Come meet fellow MIT boating enthusiasts and get ready to get on the water. Class includes text and proctored exam.
