Wednesday Night Racing (Ladies)

Description

Ladies! It's time to implement what we learnt in the practices in our Wednesday Night Racing series. Women sailors of all levels of experience with current sailing cards, feel free to sign up, whether you've been at previous practice or not. Crew selection will be based on the needs of the boat and not in the order of sign up (8 crew will be selected).

Logistics:

We will meet at the table at Waterboat Marina at 5:00 pm and plan to be back around 9:00 pm (just wave to be let in) (directions: https://maps.app.goo.gl/XsVdzAYbvY2wqgk7A).

Things to bring:

• Water
• Appropriate layers and sun protection for the weather (it's usually colder on the water but sun is stronger)
• Shoes for the boat (clean shoes that you didn't wear on the streets or thoroughly cleaned)
• Food (snacks are always encouraged, but eat before or after the race)

Optional:

• Sailing gloves
• Headlamp (ideally with red light)
• crew sheet if you're working towards a crew rating (we will have a new version this season, watch out for the update)
